Before birth
Before birth, both foetus and mother are part of a process over which neither has control. The mother's body provides a place for the baby to be fed, to develop, and to grow. This happens as a part of nature not because the mother wants it to happen or has any control over it.
The mother's body automatically provides the needs of the developing life within her. Although mother and infant are separate beings with separate bodies, they work as a unit.
